Neither of those are earbuds, they're in-ear monitors. Earbuds do not insert into the ear, they sit in the concha. And they suck.

Can someone explain why LG decided to sponsor LTT, I am confused upon this due to this channel being made for reviews on tech and with the self clean feature I would assume that LTT would have reviewed these headphones despite the sponsorship. In my eyes it would have been more logical to wait for their regular review due to the fact that many people ignore sponsored videos due to them seeming that they are biased and they wouldn't have to pay LTT, or maybe I'm just being dumb.

My Hands on experience worst earbuds I’ve ever heard. The case is nice the. Bluetooth pairing is great. The issues are zero bass no joke zero. The touch controls are aggravating to the point of just picking up your phone. Ambience mode is essential useless as the latency is too great. So hearing yourself later than you’re actually talking causes some brain farts. you constantly turn ambience on and off due to poor placement of the option. I personally did not find these comfortable but who knows maybe that’s just me . Comparing these to wired apple pods well let’s just say you’re taking them back. If this is any indication of what meridian thinks sounds good well I think I’m gonna avoid them at all cost.

I've got them for free with my LG TV and I don't really like them. It is that my Galaxy Buds+ broke, so I gave it a shot and imo: they're okay. They're okay earbuds with an UV-light (which only does its job when you charge the buds). I'm gonna sell them and get myself the Galaxy Buds+ again.

i like these and would consider them, but id also consider sony but i lean towards over ears. Not that I need any these days. i have LG wired buds that came with the V30+ that i repaired the wire with heat shrink... I have Sony XB950 BT 's that broke at the hinge.... HD 6XX at my PC and generic over ear BT headphones from Otium that I got for free... they sound ok.

If you can see the UV-light when opening, and it is in fact actually disinfecting anything.. Then don't look at the light. UV-C is very harmful to all tissue. It will damage your eyes and burn your skin. However, if it is UV-A or UV-B, then it isn't disinfecting shit.

I can tell you: the Galaxy Buds+ ARE SO MUCH BETTER. My Galaxy Buds+ broke a few days ago and I've got the LG ones with my television. The LG ones misses bass, punch and the microphone is meh. The app is also okay. Everything about these is just: okay. And at the price of 150 euros in the EU, I'm gonna say: yikes. At 120 euros you can get the Galaxy Buds+ which, yeah they have a different shape and they don't 'clean' their earbuds, is so much better at a lower price.

That UV light is strange if it is UV-C - IT SHOULD NOT be ON if you take the headphones.. and if it is UV-A/B .. then.. it is not very effective in killing.

These are so pointless. I thought there would be something in the charging case that cleans ear wax off. There's no point in sterilizing them if they're still covered in ear wax. I clean my ears, but the ear buds still eventually get dirty. It seems like LG is targeting germaphobes because of the pandemic
